Andrew Watson will provide information on brain changes during adolescence, giving greater insight into why your child is changing both emotionally and
cognitively. He will also offer some suggestions on how to manage
these changes. “My goal is to translate the recent brain science
research so that teachers, students, parents, and schools can put it
to practical use every day,” explains Watson. The talk will be most
relevant for Middle and Upper School parents.
Profile: Andrew Watson has taught for 13 years at Loomis Chaffee, four years
at Concord Academy, and two summers at Phillips Exeter Summer School.
He holds an M. Ed. in Mind Brain Education from Harvard University
